Prima Nexus sponsored six pharmacy and pharmacology events in 2018, from a UKM research colloquium to iPRC 2018
Between April and August 2018, Prima Nexus sponsored pharmacy research meetings at UKM, UiTM, IMU and CUCMS, and the 32nd scientific meeting of the Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology.

PUNCAK ALAM, 28 August 2018: Prima Nexus sponsored six events for pharmacy and pharmacology researchers between April and August 2018: the UKM Pharmacy Research Colloquium 2018 on 3 and 4 April; the 1st International Conference on Pharmacy Practice (iCoPP 2018) on 27 and 28 June; the 32nd Scientific Meeting of the Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology (MSPP 2018) on 8 and 9 August; the 6th International Postgraduate Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPOPS 2018) on 15 and 16 August; the 4th International Pharmaceutical Research Conference (iPRC 2018) from 24 to 26 August; and a GMP workshop at UiTM Puncak Alam on 28 and 29 August.
Research meetings from April to August
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), held Kolokium Penyelidikan Farmasi 2018, its pharmacy research colloquium, on its Kuala Lumpur campus on 3 and 4 April. UiTM held iCoPP 2018 at Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam, on 27 and 28 June. The Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology (MSPP) held its 32nd Scientific Meeting at Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya on 8 and 9 August, with a pre-conference at UKM Medical Centre, and the School of Pharmacy, International Medical University (IMU), held IPOPS 2018 on its Bukit Jalil campus on 15 and 16 August.
iPRC 2018 at CUCMS
The Faculty of Pharmacy, CUCMS, held the 4th International Pharmaceutical Research Conference in Cyberjaya, with pre-conference workshops on 24 August and the conference on 25 and 26 August. Its theme was Challenging the inquisitive minds: Frontier of the future. Plenary talks covered personalised medicine, supercritical fluid technology and nanotechnology in cosmeceuticals, and one of the pre-conference workshops covered rodent handling. Speakers included Prof Dato' Dr Mohd Zaki Salleh of the Integrative Pharmacogenomics Institute (iPROMISE), UiTM, and Prof Dr Kenji Mishima of Fukuoka University, Japan. Prima Nexus sponsored the conference and set up a photo wall, where delegates posed with props.
A GMP workshop, and Prima Nexus's part
On 28 and 29 August, the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM, held a GMP workshop at Puncak Alam. GMP, or Good Manufacturing Practice, sets the standards for making medicines of consistent quality. Prima Nexus sponsored all six events. It had sponsored MSPP's scientific meetings in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and IPoPS 2017 at UiTM.
