KUALA LUMPUR, 10 August 2026: Prima Nexus Managing Partner Nura Samsuddin was invited to the International Symposium on “Biomarkers in Early Disease Detection and Vaccine Development: A Transformative Journey in Modern Medicine”, organised by the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya (UM), on 31 July 2026.
Behind the scenes of biomedical research
The symposium was a reminder of how much happens behind the scenes in biomedical research, from discovering biomarkers to understanding how they can contribute to earlier disease detection, better prevention and the development of new vaccines.
“What I enjoyed most was not just listening to the scientific discussions, but being surrounded by researchers who are constantly asking one important question: how can we turn what we discover in research into something that makes a difference?”
Nura Samsuddin, Managing Partner, Prima Nexus
Every study is part of a bigger journey
That question sits at the centre of Prima Nexus's work. Every research project it supports, every biomarker study, every ELISA, molecular test or research collaboration is a small piece of a much bigger journey, moving research from the laboratory towards real-world impact.
Researchers planning biomarker studies can explore Prima Nexus ELISA and Luminex services and the in-kind Biomarker Research Fund.
Prima Nexus thanks Universiti Malaya and the organising committee for the opportunity, and for the conversations, knowledge and connections along the way.
