The Laboratory Animal Science Association of Malaysia held its 5th national conference with its 21st AGM in Kuala Lumpur. Prima Nexus was the conference sponsor and was invited to give a talk on laboratory animal quality.

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 August 2016: Prima Nexus sponsored the 5th National Conference on Laboratory Animal Science (5th NCLAS), held by the Laboratory Animal Science Association of Malaysia (LASAM) together with its 21st Annual General Meeting on 18 August 2016 at Grand Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The organising committee also invited Prima Nexus to present a talk on laboratory animal resources and why the quality of laboratory animals matters in research and testing.
A national meeting on laboratory animal science
LASAM held the 5th National Conference on Laboratory Animal Science together with its 21st Annual General Meeting on 18 August 2016 at Grand Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Talks covered the Animal Welfare Act 2015, veterinary pathology, the sourcing of laboratory animals, tissue imaging and mouse models in research. The speakers came from the Department of Veterinary Services, universities, research institutes and industry.
An invited talk on laboratory animal quality
The organising committee invited Prima Nexus to present a talk on laboratory animal resources and on why the quality of laboratory animals matters in research and testing. Prima Nexus was also the conference sponsor named in the programme book.

The 2016 conference continued Prima Nexus's support for LASAM: it had also sponsored the association's scientific seminar and annual general meeting in 2014 and 2015.
