About the conference
The Laboratory Animal Science Association of Malaysia (LASAM) held the 5th National Conference on Laboratory Animal Science together with its 21st Annual General Meeting on 18 August 2016 at Grand Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Talks covered the Animal Welfare Act 2015, veterinary pathology, the sourcing of laboratory animals, tissue imaging and mouse models in research, with speakers from the Department of Veterinary Services, universities, research institutes and industry.
