Prima Nexus co-organised Innovation Forum Kuala Lumpur 2018 at Universiti Malaya, on health care entrepreneurship
Universiti Malaya's two-day forum ran workshops from clinical trials to digital health, and a business ideas competition. Prima Nexus was co-organiser, and in April it sponsored an intervarsity medical innovation challenge at UKM.

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 September 2018: Prima Nexus was co-organiser of Innovation Forum Kuala Lumpur 2018 (IFKL 2018), which Universiti Malaya (UM) organised in collaboration with Innovation Forum Kuala Lumpur on 21 and 22 September 2018, at the Dewan Tunku Canselor and the Faculty of Business and Accountancy, UM. The theme was Entrepreneurship in Health Care. Earlier in the year, on 21 April, Prima Nexus had sponsored the Intervarsity Invention and Innovation in Medicine Idea Challenge 2018 (MIIC 2018) at UKM Medical Centre.
Entrepreneurship in health care
Universiti Malaya organised IFKL 2018 in collaboration with Innovation Forum Kuala Lumpur, at the Dewan Tunku Canselor and the Faculty of Business and Accountancy. The theme was Entrepreneurship in Health Care, with workshops on clinical trials and regenerative medicine, digital health, medical devices and mental healthcare. The photos show a large audience in the Dewan Tunku Canselor, and participants and organisers gathered for a group photo in front of the forum's backdrop.
A healthcare business ideas competition
The forum also ran the IFKL 2018 Healthcare Business Ideas Competition. The winners received prize cheques for RM5,000, RM3,000 and RM1,000. The cheques, dated 22 September 2018, name Universiti Malaya as organiser and Prima Nexus as co-organiser, and the winners posed with them on the stage with the organisers and guests.
Prima Nexus's part, and an idea challenge at UKM
Prima Nexus was co-organiser of the forum. A Prima Nexus director was invited to sit on the organising committee, and Prima Nexus suggested industry sponsors for the forum. Earlier, on 21 April, Prima Nexus sponsored MIIC 2018, held by UKM's Tun Dr Ismail College in Lecture Hall 1 of the Pre-Clinical Block at UKM Medical Centre, Cheras.
