Elabscience Visits Malaysia With Prima Nexus to Strengthen Support for Local Researchers
A three-day programme took the immunoassay manufacturer to the Institute for Medical Research, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board and long-time users across Malaysia.

PUCHONG, SELANGOR, 5 July 2026: Prima Nexus Sdn Bhd hosted its manufacturing partner Elabscience Bionovation Inc. for a three-day business visit to Malaysia, with a shared mission: strengthening research support for Malaysian scientists through reliable immunoassays, cell-based research solutions, molecular biology tools and beyond.
Three days, three priorities
- At the Institute for Medical Research (IMR), one of Malaysia's leading research institutions under the Ministry of Health, the teams explored opportunities in technology enhancement and research collaboration.
- At the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), knowledge and skills transfer sessions shared the latest developments in immunoassay technologies, practical workflows and best practices to support ongoing research.
- At several institutions, the manufacturer met researchers who have used Elabscience products over the years.
Listening to the people who use the technology
What stood out was the manufacturer's willingness to sit down with users, listen to their experience, understand their challenges and gather feedback that will help improve future products and support.
Prima Nexus hosts the Elabscience team in Malaysia every year. The partnership also underpins the Prima Nexus Biomarker Research Fund, which gives Malaysian researchers in-kind ELISA support.
