About the workshop
Dr Tham Chau Ling and Dr Yong Yoke Keong of UPM, with a Prima Nexus representative, covered the basics of cell culture, aseptic technique, cell culture safety, passaging, cryopreservation, cell counting and the MTT assay, which measures how a compound affects the survival of cells. The workshop ran in the Laboratory of Human Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
