About the workshop
Dr Tham Chau Ling and Dr Yong Yoke Keong of UPM, with Dr LJ Lee of Prima Nexus, covered the basics of cell culture, aseptic technique, cell culture safety, passaging, cryopreservation, cell counting and the MTT assay, which measures how a compound affects the survival of cells. The workshop ran in the Laboratory of Human Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
