The conference and its hosts
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Malaysian Anatomical Association organised IABS2017 at Canselori Putra, UPM, in Serdang, Selangor, under the theme Research Advances in Health Sciences. The organisers invited researchers, academics, health sciences professionals, students, policy makers and industry.
Speakers, posters and awards
The first announcement named three confirmed speakers: Prof. Dr. Akon Higuchi of National Central University, Taiwan, on nanomedicine; Prof. Dato' Dr. Ruszymah Idrus of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, on regenerative medicine; and Prof. Dr. Daud Ahmad Israf Ali of UPM, on natural products and drug discovery. Symposiums ran from anatomy and neuroscience to nutrition and pharmaceuticals, with oral, poster and young investigator awards.
Prima Nexus's part
