A research day at the Faculty of Pharmacy
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) held its Research Symposium 2016 on 12 and 13 April 2016 at the UKM Kuala Lumpur Campus. The symposium ran together with a joint seminar between UKM and Thammasat University. It was organised by the faculty's Research Day 2016 committee.
Speakers from four universities
The programme brought together invited speakers from Thammasat University, UniKL MESTECH, Universiti Putra Malaysia and UKM. Talks on pharmacy and pharmacology research took place in a lecture hall on the campus. In its printed acknowledgement, the organising committee thanked the speakers, the faculty staff, the sponsoring companies and every participant of the symposium.
What Prima Nexus contributed
Prima Nexus sponsored the symposium in kind. It supplied branded folders, pens and A5 notepads for participants, and set up a Prima Nexus photo booth with a logo backdrop and hand-held props, where participants stopped for group photos. Prima Nexus was one of five companies the committee thanked for sponsoring and supporting the event. Today Prima Nexus plans and runs animal studies in rats and mice for university research groups, including the dosing and sampling work that pharmacology projects often need.
