About the workshop
The workshop was hosted by the Laboratory Animal Facility and Management (LAFAM) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). As its name says, it was the first workshop on rabbits in the LAFAM series, which also held a workshop on the care and use of laboratory animals in 2015.
What the workshop covered
Photos from the workshop show talks in a lecture room, with participants seated at tables and following along in their workshop notes. One slide seen in the photos shows a set of photographs of rabbits' faces. Everyone gathered in the lecture room for a group photo.
Prima Nexus's part
Prima Nexus sponsored the workshop. It provided branded folders, pens and A5 notepads for participants, and supported two researchers from the Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals (IPharm), part of the National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (NIBM), to attend. Prima Nexus also ran a photo booth with a branded backdrop and props, and participants took away an instant print.
