Prima Nexus and Elabscience Launch the Biomarker Research Fund for Malaysian Researchers
Procure five ELISA kits for an approved project and Prima Nexus funds one more: a practical way to expand a biomarker panel without waiting for a traditional grant.

PUCHONG, SELANGOR, 18 March 2026: Prima Nexus Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with its biomarker research principal Elabscience Bionovation Inc., has launched the Biomarker Research Fund (BRF), also known as The ELISA Research Fund, to support the Malaysian research community in exploring a wider range of biomarkers and to ease the financial burden of biomarker-based studies.
Limited by budget, not ideas
Most biomarker studies are not limited by ideas; they are limited by budget and access. The fund is designed to help active researchers expand their biomarker panels without waiting for traditional grants, so they can run more assays, generate stronger datasets and move their projects forward.
How it works
- Purchase five ELISA kits for a research project, and Prima Nexus funds one additional full-size ELISA kit (terms and conditions apply).
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from 1 March to 30 June 2026, with limited places per intake.
- Every submission is reviewed by the Prima Nexus scientific team, and applicants hear the outcome within five working days.
- Participants receive training, consultation and technical support from the Prima Nexus team.

Giving back after a decade of partnership
