PUCHONG, SELANGOR, 21 July 2026: Twelve years ago, Prima Nexus saw a gap in Malaysia's clinical trial market. Many researchers and companies wanted to run clinical studies, but the cost was simply too high. Not every project needed a large contract research organisation (CRO); many only needed the right team and the right support. So Prima Nexus built one.
Built for the projects a large CRO overlooks
The aim was simple: make clinical trials accessible, especially for universities, start-ups and local innovators, with a clinical research support team that is practical, flexible and affordable.
A growing record across health areas
Over the years, the team has supported successful studies across many areas, including gut health, healthy ageing, cardiovascular health, prediabetes, glucose metabolism, fatty liver disease and endometriosis.
Prima Nexus coordinates Phase I to IV biomarker work, feasibility and site logistics, so that a trial keeps moving. Studies can also draw on the company's ELISA and Luminex biomarker platform and its regulatory and grant support.
