About the symposium
The symposium was organised by the Biomedical Science Programme of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). It was held over two days, on 1 and 2 August 2017, at Premiera Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Red UKM banners stood beside the stage.
Photographs from the first day show the opening ceremony, with delegates seated at rows of tables facing the stage. They also show talks with slides on the large screens, research posters on display boards, and exhibition booths.
Prima Nexus's part
Prima Nexus sponsored the delegate materials for the symposium: blue folders carrying the Prima Nexus name, pens and A5 notepads. The folders can be seen on delegates' desks during the sessions, and one was pinned beside a research poster on the display boards.
After the symposium, a post-conference programme on healthy longevity was held, and Prima Nexus was invited to run a workshop session there. Today Prima Nexus supports research teams with a laboratory services menu and coordination across its research domains, as described on the research capabilities page.
