The seminar and its host
The seminar took place in the seminar room of the Animal Research Complex at AMDI, Universiti Sains Malaysia, with places limited to 20.
What it covered
A Prima Nexus representative compared western blot and ELISA, two common ways to detect proteins, and introduced bead-based technology, which measures many DNA, RNA or protein targets in one sample at the same time.
Prima Nexus's part
Prima Nexus organised the seminar. The same year it ran hands-on ELISA workshops at Universiti Malaya and UKM. Multiplex testing today is on the PrimePlex and ELISA and Luminex pages.
