The conference and its host
The Antioxidants, Ageing and Degenerative Diseases Research Group of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) organised ICADD 2015 with the Faculty of Medicine, UKM. It ran over two days in the Mahkota 2 ballroom of the Istana Hotel under the theme "From Molecules to Human", and abstracts came from at least 15 countries.
Plenary lectures, symposia and posters
Professor Enrique Cadenas of the University of Southern California opened the programme with a plenary lecture on lipoic acid, brain ageing and a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease. There were six plenary lectures and four symposia, on antioxidants in metabolic and degenerative diseases, technology in antioxidant research and the future of the field, with free communication sessions and a judged poster session.
Prima Nexus's part
Prima Nexus was listed among the supporters in the programme book. The organisers planned for 162 participants, 16 speakers and 22 committee members. For measuring markers in research samples today, see the ELISA and Luminex page.
