Prima Nexus ELISA Hands-On Workshop @ UPM
The Prima Nexus ELISA Roadshow 2026 came to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), on 14 July 2026, with a full-day hands-on ELISA workshop.

About the workshop
The workshop ran from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on Tuesday 14 July 2026 in two laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), UPM: Makmal Pelbagai Guna 3 in Block C and Makmal Pemakanan 3 in Block D. Researchers were registered and seated in groups, each with its own ELISA kit and materials.
Dr Ramya Dewi introduced the principles and uses of ELISA and briefed the protocol step by step, then led each group of researchers through a full ELISA run at the bench: preparing the standards and loading the wells, washing the plate, adding the biotinylated detection antibody and the HRP conjugate, and adding the substrate. The afternoon covered data analysis, troubleshooting and optimisation.
