LASAM Scientific Seminar and 24th Annual General Meeting
The Laboratory Animal Science Association of Malaysia (LASAM) held its Scientific Seminar and 24th Annual General Meeting on 27 August 2019 at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort City, Putrajaya, with the support of Prima Nexus.

The seminar and its host
LASAM, the Laboratory Animal Science Association of Malaysia, held a morning scientific seminar for its members, followed by its 24th Annual General Meeting. The programme ran from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm on Tuesday 27 August 2019 at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort City, Putrajaya, and admission was free for LASAM members.
The tentative programme listed talks on a DNA vaccine tested in a preclinical transgenic mouse model, animal behaviour studies, rodent models of addiction and dementia, inhalation anaesthesia for animal surgery, and a microinjection system for small laboratory animals, before the AGM at noon.
Prima Nexus’s part
Prima Nexus supported the meeting, and two members of the Prima Nexus team sat on the LASAM executive committee at the time. The photographs show a full meeting room during the talks and a group photo of the participants.
