Nanomedicine is universally recognised as the driver for the next wave of advancements in detection, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Next generation therapies will be expected to deliver drugs specifically to sites of disease or tumors in order to maximize clinical benefit while limiting side effects. This workshop is designed to link the theory and practice of nanomedicine formulations with clinical developments and commercialization. It will cover topics that will familiarize individuals from pharmacy, biotech, bioengineering and medical fields with nanotechnology research and its applications in medicine.
