miRNA PCR Array Workshop
16 Oct 2019 to 17 Oct 2019
8:00am - 5:00pm
Organized by:
This workshop aims at introducing users to the PCR array offered by Qiagen. PCR Array is a high throughput method that allows user to determine the expression of several genes in one run. Among which, miRNA PCR Array is one of the most widely used arrays. Other types of arrays are also available such as mRNA and lncRNA PCR Array. Participants will have hands-on experience in developing the assays and analyzing the results. This workshop will utilize basic procedures including conversion to cDNA and running qPCR. This will allow users to be more flexible in terms of the experimental design and more cost-effective. Participants will be introduced to basic RNA extraction,
principles of qPCR, principles of PCR Array and data analysis.
To introduce to participants on exosomes and exosomal RNA
To introduce to the participants the basics of doing PCR Array
To expose the applications of PCR Array in an experimental design
To support and asssist research related to molecular biology and molecular medicine
