Infectious, vector-borne animal and zoonotic diseases have become increasingly important worldwide with disease emergencies occurring at increasing frequency. Development of diagnosis is a crucial factor to control animal diseases although in many developing countries, the limitations in veterinary services and diagnostics are not sufficient to control animal disease outbreaks. The effort of MAVP in organizing this conference is to bring in laboratory network, sharing of knowledge and experience among practitioners, academicians and researchers across disciplines to undertake animal disease diagnosis with the use of conventional pathological, immunological and molecular biological platforms. It also provides guidelines and expert support to help build the diagnostic capacities among participants. The 11th MAVP Scientific Conference 2019 will bring together veterinarians, veterinary and medical related professionals, animal health industry, veterinary services, researchers and students with the aim of advancing the veterinary disease investigation in the region. The 11th MAVP Scientific Conference 2019 will be a national and regional edition staging an effective platform for interaction among academicians, researchers, practising veterinarians and policy-makers which will ultimately help the veterinary community and the whole society. Plenary sessions will showcase eminent speakers and scholars in the relevant field followed by oral/poster presentations on research
and clinical cases by scientists, researchers, practitioners and postgraduate students. Besides the scientific presentations, MAVP Annual General Meeting, MoU Signing Ceremony and Official Dinner will also take place.
